Guess what? Fashion is betting on video games again!
French skiwear brand Moncler is the latest to collaborate with online gaming platform Fortnite, with a collection of responsive skins for player avatars. The looks available in the 'Moncler Classic Set' are inspired by the recent 6 Moncler 1017 Alyx 9SM collection created by designer Matthew Williams. They celebrate the contrast between light and shadow, a leitmotif of the collection.

Players can purchase the jackets in light or dark tones or choose the reactive model, designed to fade from light to dark depending on the level of altitude within the game. As the player begins to descend, the effect of the jacket fades from dark to light.
"Moncler was born in the mountains, and the new garments for Fortnite pay homage to its long tradition of adventure and discovery."-Matthew Williams
Several new accessories will also be part of the offering, also inspired by real-life Moncler items, including an Umbra-Tube Back Bling, Umbra-Axe Pickaxe, and a Para-Pluie Glider.

Besides Moncler, several luxury brands like Gucci, Balenciaga, and Valentino have decided to jump into the world of video games by creating unique collections for player avatars. These partnerships always turn out to be a big success.
