Four of Fortnite’s fan-favorite characters have a new fresh look. Doggo, Ramirez, Knight, and Banshee dress Balenciaga.
A few weeks ago a new collaboration between Fortnite and luxury fashion house Balenciaga was announced.
Demna Gvasalia, Balenciaga's creative director, pointed out that there has been a previous collaboration with Epic Games. It was in December 2020, with the release of their new game, Afterworld: The Age of Tomorrow, that Balenciaga showcased its Autumn Winter 2021 collection.
Epic Games president Adam Sussmann explained how fashion has a long history in the Fortnite community and how enthusiastic he is about the partnership with Balenciaga.

Balenciaga is not the only luxury brand that dropped into the video games world. In 2019, Louis Vuitton collaborated with League of Legends.
In 2020, Nintendo's Animal crossing showcased its first digital fashion show with brands such as Valentino, Marc Jacobs, and Anna Sui.
More people seem to care a lot about how their avatar looks like in the virtual world and they would spend tons of money on virtual fashion products. This shows that there's enormous hype surrounding the Metaverse. Because of that, digital fashion products are rising and the industry is taking off.
